The Cocoa Daisy Fall Crop...

You don't want to miss it... the Cocoa Daisy Fall Crop "The Midway" is getting closer!

The crop takes place on October 26-28 and then you'll have until November 4th, to play along with the challenges. The crop is open to everyone, and you don't have to be a subscriber or have a Cocoa Daisy kit to join in. Just make sure that you register for the message board, before the crop starts!

Pyssloteket!

This is my first layout as a guest designer for Pyssloteket. A list of all the supplies can be found in the Inspirational blog.

Along with most of the other supplies, you can find the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Vintage Pink and the Glimmer Glaze in Cowboy, in the Pyssloteket store.

You should also check out the Pyssloteket Facebook page. During October Pyssloteket will donate 1 Swedish krona to cancer research (Cancerfonden) for each new liker on the page - so go there and "like"!

Smått och gott... och en kurs!

Jag var själv med barnen stora delar av helgen och vi hade det mysigt men intensivt! Det känns som om jag "glömt" hur man gör, sedan jag började jobba. :) Jag är ju mer borta än hemma nuförtiden och det är J som tar hand om... typ allt... :) Det var galet stressigt att få iväg oss allihop när Alva skulle spela tennis igår morse. Jag tog det lite väl lungt där på morgonen, innan jag till sist insåg att det var dags att sätta sprutt om vi skulle komma iväg alla fyra. Orutin, helt enkelt! På det stora hela var det en riktigt bra helg! Vi fick ju till och med se hösten från sin finaste sida, med blå himmel och sol och allt.

Jag har glömt att berätta att jag för ett tag sedan blev intervjuad av goaste Marja till tidningen Allt Om Scrap. Ni kan läsa den jättefina tidningen här och på sidorna 50-63 är det lite extra spännande! ;) Tusen tack Marja!

En annan jätterolig nyhet är att jag ska gästdesigna för Pyssloteket ett tag framöver. Imorgon dyker mitt första inlägg upp i Pysslotekets inspirationsblogg. Titta gärna in där! Butiken ligger på Valhallavägen och är alldeles fullproppad med godsaker! :)

Som om det inte vore nog med spännande saker så tycker jag att ni ska kolla in det här - jag ska nämligen hålla en liten kurs på just Pyssloteket, den 17 november. Några bilder och lite mer info kommer att komma snart, men så mycket kan jag säga som att vi kommer att göra ett minialbum utav tags, med några olika typer av färg (gesso, akrylfärg, Glimmer Glam mm) och grundläggande tekniker inom mixed media. :)

Saying thank you with mist...

I created this special "thank you gift" for Tattered Angels this month. I used a canvas circle from Canvas Corp and one of the many sticks that Alva has collected and brought home to her collection. :) Together with some jute string (also from Canvas Corp), Prima flowers, gesso and lots of yummy Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glam, I put this hanging decoration together.

I also added some stamping inbetween the layers of gesso and mist, using stamps from Cocoa Daisy.

The letter stickers were misted with Chalkboard mist and then painted with Glimmer Glaze. The flowers were misted, partially painted with Glam, painted with some gesso, misted again and finally I added some more Glimmer Glam. 

 

I'm really happy with how the stick turned out - I painted it with gesso and then with Glimmer Glam. :)

 

Tattered Angels and Art Journaling...

I created this art journal page for Tattered Angels. Check out the TA inspiration blog, for some step by step-photos and more detailed info. For the background I used Simply Sheer mist, Glimmer Mist, Gesso, Stencils, more mist and Glimmer Glaze.

The face was painted with acrylic paint and for the hair I used Neocolour II crayons and acrylic paint and then Glimmer Glam on top. I love the effect of the Glam on top of the black paint!

I actually added some blue "eye shadow" later on, but on that photo I didn't catch the sparkle in the hair so that's why I'm posting both of them... :)

 

 

And some more Cocoa Daisy Oct kit...

This one is about how Tuva is talking and talking and talking... Looong sentences, and we don't understand a word of it, but totally love to hear her talk. :)

The background was created with a stencil from Crafter's Workshop (available in the Cocoa Daisy boutique!) and acrylic paint (Jenni Bowlin dabber, also from the boutique), then I added misting, gesso using another stencil and the dark green is Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam.

I used the main kit, together with the Embellishment pack and the Switchback add on. I also used one of the tab stamps and I love it so much!
