I am happy for Anna...

...because she has a new and wonderful career going with her photography business. I would be lying though, if I told you I wasn't incredibly sad that the last sketch is up over at Pencil Lines. Go check it out. I am so happy and proud that I got to be a part of the team and Pencil Lines has been such a fab inspiration for so many years. Thank you Anna!

Here's my take on sketch 265, by Morag Cutts! Check the sketch out here, as well as what the rest of the team made.

I used acrylic paint and my sewing machine for the circle. The foam thickers are stamped and then sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Also the fabric was colored with Glimmer Mist.

Check out Pencil Lines Sketch no. 259, created by Tracie Hudson! Here's my layout... I used some gesso and a stencil from Crafter's Workshop, to create the subtle pattern. The banners were created using one of the Cocoa Daisy stamps.

Check out the new sketch (by Cathy) and the fab team layouts at Pencil Lines! Here's my take on the sketch. I can't believe this little girl is now 5 months (today!)... She has a terrible cold and I feel so sorry for her. She's sleeping right now and I hope we'll get through this quickly!

I mostly used supplies from the October Cocoa Daisy kit for this layout, together with some older stuff.

First of all, thank you sooo much for your sweet comments about my drawings! I truly appreciate it. I have so much to learn... but it's so much fun to feel that I'm actually able to make some progress by practicing. :)

I love these photos of Alva and Linus. They were visiting me at the hospital when I was expecting Tuva and we were supposed to go for a short walk but it was way too windy to be nice. They held on to each other and were so sweet together.

The owl was made out of polymer clay and painted with glimmer glam.

Lot's of messy paint... :)

Tuva och jag har varit hemma själva i 9 dagar nu... men idag kommer de bästa tre äntligen hem igen! Vi har haft det mysigt och lugnt här hemma. Jag har njutit av att inte behöva vara så noga med matlagningen... =) och det har varit mysigt att få ha full fokus bara på lillskruttan. Men jag har också längtat väldigt förstås och jag ser sååå mycket fram emot att få höra om alla äventyr de varit med om uppe i fjällen. Det blir bra att vara fem här hemma igen!

Veckans skiss hos Pencil Lines är ritad av Anna och så här blev min layout. Jag har använt julikitet från Cocoa Daisy.

Pencil Lines sketch 247 is up! The sketch is found in the book, Pencil Lines the Sketch Book. I created a Tuva layout. She has grown so much since this photo was taken. It's almost scary how fast the time goes by!

Pencil Lines sketch 245 is up!

I created a rectangle a rectangle using mist and used my sewing machine around the rectangle. I also splattered some white paint and pink Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam over the rectangle.

The photos are from Alva's birthday when I took some time off from taking care of Tuva at the hospital and went home for a few hours, for the first time in 1,5 month! It was really wonderful to be home and to be able to celebrate Alva!

Birthdays are fun! :)

28 weeks...

This is another layout I made while staying at the hospital, before Tuva was born. It was made for Pencil Lines, after sketch 239. It's pretty amazing that I'm now holding my little girl in my arms!

This month we are sponsored by Little Musings and I just love the cute vegetable digistamps I used on this layout. :) The title of my layout translates into "another year" and it means that our very neglected garden and vegetable patch will be taken care of another year... :) Since I spent all spring at the hospital, there was simply not enough time. And I don't mind, because of course Tuva is the most important thing in our lives this summer. :)

Pencil Lines sketch 233

Sketch 233 is up at Pencil Lines! I have to admit I was a bit nervous creating my first layout for PL and this was actually my second attempt... =) but I had so much fun with the sketch and I'm really happy with the result.

I'm blogging from the hospital today! I "moved in" here this morning, just like we've known for quite some time now that I was going to, and it's a really strange feeling. Hopefully it's still 5-6 weeks before the baby is to be born, and I just hope these weeks go by quickly! I've been crying and I've been feeling miserable, but I'm better now. I'm glad I got the internet connection to work. And I'm glad that I can feel a bit safer, being here. :)
