Stargazing....!

The Cocoa Daisy November kit is called Stargazing and it is available on November 1st... (a very special day, since it's also the first day of our Fall Crop!)

Here are a couple of examples of what I've created so far using the kit + add ons.

I love these photos of Tuva and Alva... same age, same dress, same garden... different girls... :) I totally adore the paper air plane stamp set and here I used one of the stamps for some sublte stamping on the background.

I surprised myself recently, by suddenly feeling the urge to try "PL-style-scrapping"! I haven't really been interested, despite all the buzz that's been doing on, but it suddenly changed! I don't know how long it will last, but so far I'm having really fun! :) I love to capture more of the little things in our everyday lives. I probably won't do this for every week... but I'm mostly thinking that I'll play with it and see what happens. :)

Here are a couple of pages that I created using the Day in the Life November kit + the main kit and other add ons.

For my next layout Alva and Linus got to write a little something about what they like best about going to school. :) The photo is from their first day of school this August.

Here's a photo of the main kit... more exclusives than ever before! Do you see the fabulous custom stencil...?

The Day in The Life kit for November... my first Day in The Life kit and now I can't believe I resisted them for so long... :)

The Orion add on

The Milky Way add on

The Andromeda add on... including one fab sheet of shimmery vellum and one gorgeous transparency with stars.

Stamps...!!! The "let's go"-set is a new favourite... especially the outlined one.

And this is not it... There are also two different Christmas themed add ons! One Day In The Life kit...

...and one Document December kit... both looking sooo good!

Cocoa Daisy Sneaks, Fall Crop and Art Class...!

Tomorrow is Reveal day at Cocoa Daisy... I know you will love the November kit... Stargazing..! Here's a sneak of what I've created so far.

We are also in the middle of the final preparations for the Fall Crop next weekend! The challenges are fab and fun and I am really looking forward to the crop! It's so much fun to see it all happening, after all the work that's been taking place behind the scenes for so long.

I'll be teaching an art class during the crop, on Saturday, 9 am EST (klockan 14 svensk tid)! There's a supply list available on the message board.

Distress Paint Metallic...

There's a fun challenge going on over at Pyssloteket until October 27th. The assignment is to create a card or a tag where black, grey and white are the dominating colours. Metallics are also ok and a small amount of contrasting colour too.

I used black gesso and Brushed Pewter Distress Paint on top. The lace was coloured with Glimmer Mist and the birds painted with gesso, stamped and covered with Glimmer Glam. I also covered the flower with Glimmer Glam.

There is a list of supplies in Pyssloteket's blog.

I tried (not very successfully) to capture the glimmering on the birds and the flower... :)

Mixing the Cocoa Daisy kits...

I've used supplies from the July, August and September Cocoa Daisy kits to create this layout about Tuva and her beloved Pippi-doll. :)

Another layout using the October Cocoa Daisy kit...

The October Project Art kit contains two bottles of Viva Decor Ferro Metal Effect Colour. I used the Green gold together with a stencil to create the background for this layout and I love the look! The paint is really thick and I'm looking forward to playing around and exploring it further.

I splattered some mist on my background too and I used one of the stamps - the fabulous Herringbone background stamp - on top of the wooden piece with the heart. I love the result!

And another thing... did you hear we are having a fall crop in the beginning of November...? The Cocoa Daisy crops are always so much fun and you everyone is welcome to play along - you don't have to be a subscriber or use the CD kits. I hope to see you there!
