My Cocoa Daisy kit usually arrives within a week, but this time I guess someone wanted my kit to go on a bit of sightseeing before arriving here, so I'm still waiting...
BUT... even if my kit isn't here yet, the reveal still takes place tonight! I am so looking forward to when I'll finally get to play, because this is another fabulous kit!
Also... have you seen there is a special 3 months subscription offer?? If you feel that you're not able commit to 6 months, you're now able to try Cocoa Daisy for 3 months. But hurry, the offer ends tomorrow - March 1st!

A bit obsessed...?
We've had a few calm days, mostly staying at home, since Tuva and Linus have both been sick. Tuva still isn't 100% well and I'll have to stay at home with her tomorrow, but the other two are ready to be back to school after a week off. It's been so sunny and beautiful this weekend and I really enjoyed getting out for a walk with Tuva in the stroller earlier today... soaking in the sun, longing for spring... :)
I've also painted another little bear. I guess you could say I'm a bit obsessed. I experimented with some pouring medium, acrylic ink and black drawing ink around the edges. Not sure what to think of the result, but at least I've been having fun. :) I love to discover the patterns that happens by accident, like the dots going down between the eyes! This is the same size at the last one - 24x32 cm, which is about 9.4 x 12.6 inches.

A new painting...
I painted some more... this is a smaller version, very similar but still so different. :) I found it really interesting that the look upon his face is so different from the first one, even though they have so few attributes. I didn't try to make them look exactly the same, but I didn't try to give them different looks either. It just happened. :) This second painting is much smaller, approx. 24x32 cm, which is about 9.4 x 12.6 inches, and I did crop some of it out here too.
He looks a bit like a baby bear, doesn't he? The wider eyes makes him look a bit anxious or scared while my first bear had a totally different expression. :) I need to find a way to take a proper photo of the big painting too.

paint, paint, paint...
This is so much fun... and I kind of love this little guy... :) Or, he is not that little... The painting is 50x65 cm, which is approx. 19x25 inches.
I don't know if he is finished and I don't know how I know when he is finished... :) I think the solution is to start another painting and go on playing and practicing.
I mostly used acrylic paint, but also crayons, pen and pencils.

Colourful...
Hello Thursday! And happy Valentine's Day! :)
How is your week? I am looking forward to three days off next week, when the kids have their school break. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some scrapping and painting in. :)
I've made this page for Pyssloteket. The feathers and the thickers were coloured with Chalkboard mist and Glimmer mist. I used my sewing machine to attach the feathers to the cardstock and then I glued everything else down.

New routines...
I made a layout about our new routines since J went back to work and T started daycare. I've been carrying Tuva like this a lot lately. :)
I used the beautiful February kit from Cocoa Daisy... and again my favourite new stamp - the stars! You can see some step-by-step photos of my process when creating this layout, over at the Cocoa Daisy blog.

Messy eating...
I am going to share a bunch of layouts and projects that I've created for the Scrap365 magazine. Today - a layout about messy eating. :) This was published in the August issue, 2012.
The photo was taken almost a year ago, but the eating is still sort of messy... :)

Art journaling and stamping...
Here's an art journaling page I made a little while ago, using the Mod leaves stamp set from Cocoa Daisy. There are lots of layers on this one, because I didn't like where I was going at first... but in the end I love the little glimpses of other layers peeking through. :)
