Hello again...

The March kit from Cocoa Daisy is called 'Hello again'! I have been soooo busy with school and teacher training and a bit of flu on top of that... and it was wonderful to dig into the kit when it arrived. I immediately fell in love with the kit and it felt so easy to get started. I scrapped three super simple layouts. Perhaps it's time to get a bit messy the next time... but clean and simple was so perfect this month. :)

I have so many precious photos from my Dad and I'm so grateful to have such a treasure. This photo was taken around 1960-70. I think he looks so cool and I loved scrapping this. I know I can find out the exact year - I just need to find the original (too many boxes) - and I plan to simply write the year and maybe the location if I can figure that out too, on the journaling sticker.

 

The photo on my next layout is of me and my brother, taken when we were kids... Isn't it beautiful...? I can't say that I remember this particular moment, but I know where it's taken and I have other great memories from there.

I also scrapped a photo of the first rose in our garden, from last summer. I wonder if it will survive the winter and be this pretty again, this summer?
