Farmer's Market

Det är tur att hösten kan vara rätt så härlig och inte bara förfärlig... :) Oktoberkitet från Cocoa Daisy är fullt av härliga höstfärger!

Vi har så galet mycket äpplen i år! Jag borde förstås mosa och koka och greja... men jag gjorde i alla fall äppelmuffins i helgen... och dem gick det ju åt hela 2 äpplen till... ;)

Äppelstämpeln finns med i en add on som heter "apple pie", eller så kan man köpa den separat. Jag har färglagt den med Copics.

Det här fotot scrappade jag visst redan förra månaden, fast en variant som inte var lika mycket beskuren. Som tur är spelar det förstås ingen roll. :)

Cocoa Daisy October sneak...

Har du inga hörn?

Det är något vi säger ibland här hemma... och det kommer från ett spel på Bolibompas hemsida... De fyrkantiga Blockisarna säger med robotliknande röst: "Vad du ser rund och konstig ut! Har du inga hörn?". Väldigt roligt. =) Det passar lite extra bra på Tuva just nu - hon har verkligen inga hörn. Bara runda former och gosiga veck...

Jag har gjort den här layouten för Scrapgalen och jag har nästan bara använt cardstock och härligt glittrande Glimmer Glam från Tattered Angels.

Det är förresten värt att nämnas att Scrapgalens butik nu börjat fyllas av massor med trevliga nyheter...! Kolla till exempel in Liquitex modelling paste som jag tycker mycket om, mod podge som jag aldrig provat men vet att många gillar och Claudine Hellmuth Gesso och multimedium... för att bara nämna några få av alla skojsiga nyheter...!

Let me tell you a little about myself... I'm Anna, often AnnaB on the internet. I'm 34 years old and I'm living in a red house in a small town not very far from Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. I'm sharing my red house with Johan and our kids Linus (8 years old), Alva (5) and Tuva (4 months). We also have two crazy cats, named Zoega and Grönstedt.

My scrapbooking style is a mixture of messy and simple. I love to experiment and play and lately I've been more and more interested in trying to learn how to draw and paint and to create mixed media art. I love that scrapbooking can involve so many different things - painting, drawing, sewing, crocheting, writing... There is always something new to learn and to combine with the paper and photos that I love so much!

I currently design for a kit club - Cocoa Daisy, a sketch blog - Pencil Lines, a Swedish store - Scrapgalen and a Swedish retailer - Engströms Artstudio.

...my finished art journaling page... I would LOVE to mess things up some more, to add some distressing to the face, giving her more character. But I think I'll have to take one step at the time. I'm too afraid to mess things up in a bad way. :)

Guess who is 4 months today...

Hip hip hooray...! :) It's sooo difficult to capture her lovely smiling face. She is smiling all the time, but as soon as I put the camera in front of my face the smile disappears and she's looking pretty serious, like she's wondering what I'm doing. And I guess she probably is wondering what that crazy person is up to now. :)

I'm loving the "Supplies me" class with Jane Davenport...! I just wish I had more hours every day... =)

Pencil Lines sketch 251

Pencil Lines is back after a short break! Here is my layout, made after Anna's sketch. Check out what the rest of the team made - here.

I love these photos of Alva and Linus. They were visiting me at the hospital when I was expecting Tuva and we were supposed to go for a short walk but it was way too windy to be nice. They held on to each other and were so sweet together.

The owl was made out of polymer clay and painted with glimmer glam.

Lot's of messy paint... :)

Art Journaling...

Really, really enjoying this... learning... trying to be brave and adding stuff to my page despite the risk of ruining it all... :)

I guess I'm an online class addict... :) Right now I'm taking classes with Suzi Blu and Jane Davenport. Of course there isn't enough time for all I want to do, but I'm doing my best. =)

Det pysslas faktiskt lite...

..även om det varit lite stiltje här ett tag nu... :) Just nu håller jag på med ett par olika saker som det dröjer ett tag innan jag kan visa, men förhoppningsvis ska det hinnas med något som jag snart kan blogga också. Jag småpillar i min art journal när jag har tid och jag har massor med mums kvar från mitt Cocoa Daisy kit för september. Jag har också fått ett mycket inspirerande paket från Engströms!

Mycket tid och energi har på sistone tyvärr gått åt till att vara arg på politikerna i barn- och utbildningsnämnden här i kommunen. Det är en STOR omorganisation av skolorna i Strängnäs på gång och trots att de flesta man pratar med säger saker som att "det är för dumt för att vara sant" så verkar det som att förslaget kommer att röstas igenom den 20/9. Vi är ändå många som tänker göra vad vi kan för att påverka, medan vi fortfarande har chansen... men det tar på krafterna att vara så arg...

The letters in the title were first coated with gesso and then painted lightly with Glimmer Glam from Tattered Angels (pink lipstick).

 I added white and pink paint and some sewing, at the edges of my layout.
