Skissutmaning...!

Det är fortfarande några timmar kvar innan det är deadline för Pysslotekets senaste utmaning! Det är en kombinerad skiss- och bildinspirationsutmaning, där man kan välja att antingen inspireras av skissen eller bilden, eller av båda två! Vinnaren lottas fram och inspireras man av antingen bilden eller skissen får man en lott och får man till kombinationen får man två lotter!

Deadline är 21 juni, så kom igen... du hinner ikväll...! :)

It's been a long time...!

I can't believe I haven't been blogging for more than two weeks! It's not that I don't have anything to show you or tell you - there are lots of things I could have written about and I have several projects that are waiting to be posted. I just haven't had the time and the energy to sit down!

The last week of school (last week) was crazy with a whole bunch of different activities and we also managed to squeeze in a birthday party for Alva with her friends, this past weekend. I now have a little more than one week left, before I'll have 8 wonderful weeks off, and I can't wait....! (I just have a little too much that need to be finished during these last days... gaaah...)

Getting up this early every morning, travelling quite far to work, trying to balance work, family and also finding some time to be creative... isn't always easy. I haven't been painting for several weeks (months?) and I am so longing to pick up the paint brush again.

Ok, that wasn't entirely true, because I have been painting a little. In my journal! :) The main item in the June Project Art kit from Cocoa Daisy is a set of 12 Inktense pencils and I have had so much fun playing with them!

Crawling with Candy Shoppe...

I created another layout, using the Cocoa Daisy June kit. I used a couple of the papers from the patterned paper add on. I love those diagonal stripes so much!

This photo was taken almost exactly a year ago when we visited Legoland in Denmark. Tuva had to sit in the stroller most of the time, but it just wasn't possible to keep her in there all day. There weren't really any good places for her to crawl, so we "set her free" among all the people walking. She brought a smile to quite a few faces, as she was crawling around. :)

Candy Shoppe!

The June Cocoa Daisy kit is so full of colour and happiness! It goes on sale on June 1st! :)

For this page I splattered some pink mist over the background. The "you're sweet" is one of the stamps in the main kit and it came out so fab!

Alva was making shadow puppets and Tuva wanted to join in. :) So very cute! I used the main kit + Candy Dots and Gum Drops add ons.

It doesn't really show in the photos but I added Glimmer Glaze to the thickers.

 

Tomorrow is Reveal Day at Cocoa Daisy!

Birthday parties and cats on antibiotics... garden stuff, laundry and early mornings on the train... I need more hours in the day!

Tomorrow is Reveal Day at Cocoa Daisy and the June kit makes me so happy, in the middle of all the craziness... :)

Opening presents...

The weather was wonderful on Tuva's birthday and we decided to open her presents outside. She asked Linus and Alva for help with the opening every now and then and it was all really nice. :) She loved her kitty hat and I love it too... :)

I made this layout for Pyssloteket, using one of the wonderful Prima papers from the Sunrise Sunset collection.
