For my third layout with this month's kit, I mainly used patterned papers from the London add on. They go so well together and I LOVE the star vellum that I used to punch the circles.

More from 80 days...!
The August Project Art kit from Cocoa Daisy contains some really fun things - a brayer and three of the Distress Paints + a whole bunch of vintage goodies! I used two of the distress paint colours on this layout, together with the Go See Do airplane stamp set (I used the circle without inking the airplane) and some other bits from the main kit and a wood veneer word from the Calcutta add on.

80 days!
The Cocoa Daisy August kit is called 80 days and it's full of travel themed bits and pieces that are perfect for any layout about adventures - big or small and close to home or far away.
My first layout is about something completely different - about how Tuva loves to throw and catch a ball. :) I used the main kit and some bits from the Hong Kong add on.
I also used this fab slide stamp to create my background! I used my sewing machine to attach the super cute camera clip from the main kit. The burlap alpha and the wood veneer arrow are found in the Calcutta add on.

Project Art July...
The July Project Art kit from Cocoa Daisy contains a bottle of Liquitex Matte Medium, one sampler package Faber-Castell Textural Accents, a Maya Road Sunset Orange Pigment Ink ink pad, 2 library cards, 1 Maya Road kraft envelope, 1 Vintage seed packet (assorted design), four 5x7 pieces of muslin fabric, 1 sheet vintage German fairy tale book page, 2 sheets Gold Bond stamp sheets and various savings stamps... It's such a fun kit!
It has the perfect supplies to try out making a collaged background and that's what I did on my first page. I mostly used acrylic paint and the Inktense pencils from the June Project Art kit, to complete the page. See the Cocoa Daisy blog for details and lots of step-by-step photos.
For my second page I created a background using Inktense pencils and Dylusions Spray Ink. I then added bits and pieces from the Project Art kit, as well as from the other July kits.
My third page is a really simple page where I wrote down some thoughts about my love for music. Silly enough, I tend to forget that I love music... and I need to remind myself every now and then! I used Inktense pencils to colour and I used the Liquitex matte medium to glue the glitter down.

Designer's Challenge
There's a new challenge up on the Cocoa Daisy blog! The challenge is to die cut or punch some holes onto a piece of paper and then use the negative piece on your layout. You don't need to be a subscriber or to use the Cocoa Daisy kits to be able to join in - everyone is welcome to play along! Deadline is Tuesday Aug 6th. (August... I can't believe it's soon August...!)
I created this layout as an inspiration... about the huge ice cream Linus had the other week, with popcorn... :)

Art Journaling...
Summer so far is fun, crazy, lazy and then a bit crazy again... :) I am truly enjoying my time off, so very thankful for these weeks.
I have a couple of art journal pages to share today, made using the June Project Art kit from Cocoa Daisy. For more details and step-by-step photos, check out the Cocoa Daisy blog.
On this page I used some items from the main kit on a background created using the Inktense pencils that comes in the Project Art kit.
Also this background was made using the Inktense pencils. This time on top of gesso and some collaged bits from the Project Art kit.
These were made using the June kit... I promise that I'll be back soon with some pages made using the July Project Art kit! :)

Take a photo of me!
You can't say no when they are asking, can you? =)
I made this for Pyssloteket and you can find most of the supplies there, for example the patterned paper from Prima, the stencil from Crafter's workshop, gesso, acrylic paint, the fabulous rub ons (I used them to frame the photo) from Tim Holtz, the cute wooden stars, the doily, the mist and the stamp that I used along the edges of two corners of the layout. For more details, see this blog post.
I also used a fun texture medium - Liquitex Glass Beads (also available at Pyssloteket).

PageMaps!
Some of us from the Cocoa Daisy design team got the great honor to guest design for Becky Fleck and PageMaps, using the July sketches. If you love working with sketches and haven't yet checked PageMaps out, you really should do so!
Here is my layout made using the Cocoa Daisy July kit Cabana + add ons Striped Awning, Lime Rickey and Hammock, after one of the 12x12 July PageMaps sketches.
I love how the "you are my" stamping turned out!
